Fabrication Process

Please find work-in-process images from my bench below.

These images show the old world jewelry making technique called "fabrication" I trained in, and which I have continued to explore and build on.

Fabrication means to cold work, roll out, bend, saw, hammer, forge, solder sheet and wire. In essence, to create jewelry from scratch. Nothing is made from molds, or carved by a machine.

This process allows for a very crisp and cleanly finished piece, no two are exactly alike. Even if a piece is larger, it does not get heavy.

A peak behind the curtain... Creating a "Whisker" style pendant.
